这件作品是将父亲的证件照放到 Photoshop中，不断一份为二的进行剪裁，最后只留下一个像素点的记录。经由此过程，父亲的面孔由完整到破碎，再到像素点，完成从具象到抽象的转变。
不断放大，并裁剪照片的动作暗示着想要剖析了解父亲的愿望；但与此同时， 此动作也抹去了父亲的个人特征：照片从一个具体的人像，转变为无法辨认、 含义模糊的彩色方块，代表着作者对父亲的熟悉又陌生，亲密又疏离的复杂情感。
